Hello,

I'm one of the thousands of volunteer editors at Wikipedia, where I write articles about various foods. We've had an article about birch syrup since 2005, but we have never had a photo of it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Birch_syrup

I wonder if you might give your permission for a photo or two that you have taken (either of the syrup itself or one of your syrup bottles, or also of the collection or production of the syrup) to be uploaded to that article, so our readers will be able to see what it looks like.

As per Wikipedia's policies, the photo(s) would need to be released under a "free" license such as the Creative Commons, meaning that the photo could be reused by anyone for any reason (including educational, commercial, or any other use), although it would be specified that credit is given to the photographer and your company, and a link made to your company's website. Wikipedia is now the eighth most visited website in the world, so you'd probably get a lot of views, and maybe also people visiting your site.

Would you please let me know if you'd be amenable to this? Thank you, and all the best,

--

Sure shouldn’t be a problem, can you take a photo off of our website www.alaskabirchsyrup.com We can send you something if need be ,but might be a little while because were at the height of our busy holiday season, Dulce usually handles that. There are couple things on the wikepedia site I wanted to correct but haven’t got around to it maybe try and do that at the same time…
